Hello, a little about me...
My name's Alena, welcome to my art blog.
I'm a sophomore at UWGB majoring in Computer Science. I don't have an emphasis yet, but currently am interested in Web Design, so I love the whole blog idea. Honestly, I don't know what I'm excited to cover in this course since I have no knowledge, but I'm very intrigued by what is coming. I'm not artistic whatsoever and find that I lack creativity in the things I do, so I hope that by the end of the semester that will change and I can apply my new skills to my other work.
My current drawing skills are triangle bodies for girls, and rectangle bodies for boys... however, I do have an admiration for art. I once took my very talented and artistic niece to an art museum in Milwaukee. At the time, art museums were not my cup of tea, but that day I looked at many works of art and was awed and found myself connecting to some pieces. I enjoyed interpreting the artworks and wished I was as talented as the artists.
Am I a talker? My anxiety says no, but real me says yes. I like talking face to face and connecting that way, but usually only if I feel comfortable around you. Otherwise, I think it's better to video chat.
